Harbottle Parish Council
The civil Parish of Harbottle consists of the villages of Harbottle, Holystone and Sharperton, with an adult population of 220.
The Parish has a Public House and Shop, a First School, Village Hall and Doctor’s Surgery, all in Harbottle, and a Church of England church in Holystone.
The Parish Council has five Councillors and meets approximately every six weeks in the Star Inn at Harbottle. Notices of meetings are posted on the boards in Harbottle, Holystone and Sharperton and in normal times, the meetings are open to the public. It considers and supports ways and means that maintain and improve the well being of its community. Parish Councils are a statutory consultee on planning matters and applications.
