Hazlerigg Parish Council supports the Climate& Ecology Bill 2023

Hazlerigg Parish Council unanimously voted to support the Climate and Ecology Bill that it going before Parliament in November for its fourth reading.

The motion passed by the Parish Council can be found in the documents section of our web site.

Parish Councillor Vacancies

Hazlerigg Parish Council has 2 vacancies and will consider filing those seats on the Parish Council by co-opting two new members at the Parish Council meeting on 28th September 2023.

Hazlerigg Parish Council elections run at the same time as the  City Council elections on 4th May 2023.  If you wish to stand for election please contact the parish council at hazleriggparishcouncil@gmail.com for a nomination pack or elections@newcastle.gov.uk.  

Hazlerigg Park Planting Day

Sunday 12th March 2023 - 10am till 12 noon

At Hazlerigg Park behind the Community Centre.

Join staff from North East Community Forest Team, Northumberland Wildlife Trust, Newcastle City Council and local residents / volunteers to plant trees as part of the Queen's Green Canopy Project.

Everyone welcome, no experience necessary.
