Sadly during the pandemic and now during the energy and cost of living crisis there are people out there who will try to use these situations as a way to defraud others. Please continue to be vigilant when dealing with people online or by phone. Scams can take many forms, presently they may focus on energy support or advice, but could also be about insurance policies, pensions transfers, or high-return investment opportunities.
