Whalton Parish Council
Whalton Parish lies to the west of Morpeth and at the time of the 2011 census had a population of 474 people living in 210 households. There are two main settlements within the boundaries: Whalton and Ogle together with a number of smaller hamlets and outlying farms.
Whalton Parish Council meets every other month to consider issues affecting our community. We pay special attention to planning and highway issues. Meetings are normally held at 7.30pm in Whalton Village Hall and are open to the public.
Whalton Parish Council has six Councillors covering Ogle and Whalton. There is one committee which deals with Core Strategy Issues. The Council does not appoint any Councillor to outside bodies.
