Audit of the 2021/2022 Accounts

Vacancy for a Clerk
Whalton Parish Council are seeking a new clerk as the current clerk, Stephen Rickitt, is retiring after the summer.
The Council concentrates on improving the environment of the parish, taking a keen interest in planning applications and holding the County Council’s Highways Dept. to account.
There are no allotments, cemeteries or halls run by the Council.
The Council meets in the Village Hall, Whalton about eight times a year.
Between meetings, practically all business is conducted electronically

Due to ill-health and the unavailability of some Councillors, these have been postponed and will now take place on TUESDAY 21 JUNE 2022 starting at 7.30 pm in the Village Hall, Whalton.
Vacancy for two Parish Councillors
There are two vacancies for parishioners to be co-opted onto the Parish Council and serve as a Councillor until the next elections in May 2025.
The Council meets about eight times a year, usually on the third Tuesday of the month, at 7.30 pm in The Village Hall, Whalton, although meetings at present are digital because of the pandemic.
Although access to emails is not a statutory requirement, business outside meetings is conducted by email.
