Freedom of the Parish for Katie Scott & Alan Winlow
Two leading members of the community were awarded the Freedom of the Parish of Whitton & Tosson by its Chair, Hilary Dunn at an awards ceremony held on Monday 11th September in the Rothbury Jubilee Hall.
Katie Scott was awarded the honour for her valued and devoted services rendered to the to the community and for her astounding achievement of the successful reopening of the Rothbury Community Hospital.

WHITTON AND TOSSON PARISH COUNCIL ANNUAL GOVERNANCE & ACCOUNTABILITY RETURN AND ANNUAL ACCOUNTS FOR THE YEAR ENDING 31ST MARCH 2023
The Whitton & Tosson Parish Council Annual Governance & Accountability Return and Annual Accounts for the year ending 31st March 2023 is now published and the relevant documents will be found in the Audit Section of Documents above.
As an authority that has an annual income and expenditure of less than £25000, the Council has certified that it is exempt from External Audit. However, it has followed all necessary procedures to adhere to Local Government Regulations with respect to its accounts and the auditing of accounts
