A Referendum will be held on Thursday, 10 June 2021 to decide on the question below:
"Do you want Northumberland County Council to use the neighbourhood plan for Wooler to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?"
Poll cards will be sent out to all residents of the Parish of Wooler who currently feature upon Northumberland County Council’s Electoral Register. The polling station is at: Wooler Cheviot Centre, 12 Padgepool Place, Wooler, NE71 6BL
Residents who are currently registered to vote by post will be sent a postal vote pack.
Any residents of Wooler who are unsure as to whether they are registered or not or wish to register to vote by post or proxy should contact Electoral Services Northumberland County Council, County Hall, Morpeth, Northumberland, NE61 2EF or ring on 01670 624844 based on the deadlines set out below:
Application Deadline for receipt of New applications to register to vote: Monday 24 May 2021
New applications to vote by post or to cancel or amend an existing postal/proxy vote: 5pm on Tuesday, 25 May 2021
New applications to vote by proxy: 5pm on Wednesday, 2 June 2021
Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at County Hall, Morpeth, Northumberland, NE61 2EF by 5pm on Thursday 10 June 5pm
