Community Governance Review – Allendale Parish Council

At its meeting in October 2021 Allendale Parish Council agreed to make a formal request for a community governance review in view of the difficulty in finding candidates at election time.

Following on from this Northumberland County Council are now carrying out that review and are inviting comments on the proposal that should be made in writing by 17 June 2022 directly to:

Allendale Parish Council is looking to fill up to six councillor vacancies by co-option and invites expressions of interest.

Allendale Parish Council tender notice to carry out tree remedial work in Allendale Cemetery

The Parish Council is looking to appoint a contractor to carry out tree remedial work (and remove arisings) in Allendale Cemetery, in three months, six months and twelve months’ time, as specified in Gavin Reichert’s baseline tree survey carried out in July 2021.

We urge you all to ensure you take up any offer from the NHS to be vaccinated against Covid 19. A third vaccine has just been approved for use in the UK.
