NOTICE OF VACANCY IN OFFICE OF A COUNCILLOR: PARISH OF BRINKBURN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
Pursuant to section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972, that Richard George Elphick formerly a Member of the above named Parish Council, has ceased to be a Member of the Parish, and that a vacancy now exists in the office of Councillor for the Parish.
The Parish Council is dedicated to improving communication with our residents. To accomplish this, we will use diverse methods, including circulating newsletters, posting on the noticeboard, spreading the word through community members, organizing informative events such as the one held leach summer to discuss our environmental efforts, and regularly updating this website.
The next meeting of the Brinkburn & Hesleyhurst Parish Council will be held on Tuesday, 10th March 2026 at 7.30 p.m. in the Memorial Hall, Rothbury Road, Longframlington.
We are to be joined by Paul Barrett, Community Development Rothbury, Northumberland Wildlife Trust, who will provide an update on the sale of the Rothbury Estate, followed by questions and discussion.
