Chair, Brinkburn and Hesleyhurst Parish Council, Councillor for Brinkburn
I live at Embleton Terrace with my partner and two daughters. I retired early from teaching agriculture and related subjects at Kirkley Hall, now part of Northumberland College, where I was a member of staff for 25 years, including many years as branch secretary of the teachers trade union. I was formally a member of the National Park Authority, and a National Park Voluntary Ranger. I was Chair of Governors at Rothbury First School and remain a governor at the school which my children attend. I also chair the Centre for Search Research. My present full-time role is as housekeeper and carer for my children.
