Parish Councillor Hesleyhurst
Born and raised in Yorkshire I have lived and worked in France, Italy, the United States and New Zealand before coming to live at Embleton Terrace with my Italian husband and our three children.
I have worked in plant molecular genetics and language teaching/translation as well as a stint at homeschooling (but not all at the same time!). More recently, alongside caring for my family, I have been working with homeopathy and Bach flower remedies whilst continuing to translate/proofread the occasional academic document.
My hobbies include walking my border collie in the beautiful Northumberland countryside and helping out at the Simonside Country Fair, where I am currently the secretary.
