NOTICE OF VACANCY IN OFFICE OF A COUNCILLOR

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN

Pursuant to section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972, that Stuart Breckons formerly a Member of the above named Parish Council, has ceased to be a Member of the Parish Council, and that a vacancy now exists in the office of Councillor for the Parish.

Following on from nominations received by Northumberland Council Council for the elections held on 1 May 2025, Duddo Parish Council has a vacancy for a Councillor on Twizel Ward post election.

Therefore the Parish Council is looking to fill the vacancy by co-option.

Polling District and Polling Places Review 2025

Northumberland County Council has initiated a review of polling districts and polling places across the whole of the county.

A period of consultation is taking place between the 11 September 2025 and 9 October 2025.
