Kirknewton Parish Council

Kirknewton village nestles amongst the foothills of the Cheviot within the Glendale Valley of North Northumberland. The surrounding area being rich in history and archeology. Kirknewton Parish Council KPC represents both the interests of the parish and the wider community. This includes the welfare of visitors and walkers. The Parish Council meets in the village hall once every two months, attended by the County Councillor.  In attendance are six council members including the chair.  These meetings are open to the general public and provide an opportunity to join in matters and debate which directly affect the Parish.  Notices and Minutes are held on the notice board within the village hall.
