Parish Council Update
1. Request for the re- painting of road markings on main roads through Ovingham and estate roads has been submitted to NCC. This is being followed up and they hope to carry out the re - marking in next 28 days.
2. Repairs to potholes on road in front of schools are to be repaired ASAP.
3. The street light which stood in the Closed Churchyard was damaged in high winds earlier this year, it is to be replaced by a solar powered street light and will be installed on the church lane later this week.
4.The wooden zip wire framework which was found to be rotten in various sections has been replaced by a metal structure..
