Revised bus timetable re Roadworks on C254 Ovingham to Wylam road from 06.02.23 - 10.03.23
Further to our previous post regarding the roadworks on the Ovingham to Wylam road, commencing 06.02.23, we have now received a revised bus timetable from Go North East, which can be accessed via the link below.
The Bus will be diverted up Horsley Road towards Horsley then down into Wylam, just as it did when the Northern Gas work was being carried out.

Closure of Ovingham to Ovington Road - Sunday 5th February 2023
This is a reminder of the planned road closure due to take place this Sunday 5th February 2023.
The Ovingham to Ovington Road will be closed between 9.00am - 17.00pm to enable a crane to be placed in the road, to remove a portacabin from Ovingham First School.

Traffic Regulation Order as follows: C254 Ovingham To Wylam
Ovingham Road Wylam
We have been advised by Northumberland County Council of a road closure, re the C254 Ovingham to Wylam Road - for Civils and carriageway resurfacing.
The details we have received are below:
Expected road closure - 06/02/2023 - 10/03/2023 between the hours of 07:00 - 17:00 Access will be maintained as far as reasonably practicable.
School transport will be escorted through works morning and night.

Draft Minutes of the Ovingham Parish Council Meeting held 19th January 2023.
Phase 2 Water Scheme – Protection of houses in Dene Garth and Bewick Lane.
Works to install the new inlet structure and trash screen in Cooks Field were planned to start on the 9th. January 2023, this has been delayed until early February, exact date will depend on weather conditions.
