The Parish Council together with the Community Group have bought and installed more dog waste bins. A rough sketch showing where they are located is attached. The new bin at Overdene is by the bridle path.
Whilst the bins are owned by the Parish Council they are emptied by Northumberland County Council and can only be located in accessible areas for their vehicles.
The new locations will be monitored for 3 months but hopefully will be a permanent fixture.
You may have also noted some wooden dispensers for dog waste bags have also been installed. Please do use them and if one is empty, let the Clerk or any Councillor know.
