Thirston is a small rural Parish in mid-Northumberland situated in the lower valley of the River Coquet, approximately half way between the historic market towns of Morpeth and Alnwick. Their current voting population is 450.
The Parish Council comprises 6 members. The Council meets on a Thursday evening approximately every 6 weeks in The Nursery, United Reform Church Hall at 7.30pm. Members of the public and welcome.
