Tritlington and West Chevington Parish Council

Tritlington and West Chevington Parish Council is a team of dedicated local residents with a passion for their community. Led by Cllr. Peter Hogg, we are your first port of call if you have any questions, concerns or issues relating to the area.

With countless years between us working on both local and county councils, and a deep-rooted connection to our parish, we have the experience to collectively help solve any problems and make positive changes.

It is our aim to represent you both on a local and county level, and we are always delighted to hear from local residents with their feedback and interest in our work and latest issues.

Parish Councils were first established under the Local Government Act 1894. (Parish Councils, despite some associations of the name, do not have a direct connection with churches.) They are the first tier of local government supporting the democratic process. The Parish Council is a corporate body, and a legal entity, and is accountable to the local community. Parish Councils provide a focus for the community to identify concerns and projects, and endeavour to solve them locally themselves.
