POLLING DISTRICT AND POLLING PLACE REVIEW 2025
An opportunity to give feedback on the polling districts and polling stations in
Northumberland!
Northumberland County Council is carrying out a Polling District and Polling Place
Review. All residents of Northumberland are being given the opportunity to provide
any feedback on the polling stations they vote at or any of the polling districts across
the 69 county divisions.
Public consultation is taking place from the 11 September 2025 till 9 October 2025,
where you will be able to give your feedback.
The polling district and polling station proposals currently put forward will be
available to view at the following locations:
• Northumberland County Council, County Hall, Morpeth, Northumberland.

11 September 2025 Formal notice of review
11 September 2025 Publication of (Acting) Returning Officer’s comments
11 September 2025 Commencement of public consultation period
9 October 2025 End of public consultation period
5 November 2025 Final proposals considered by the Council
1 December 2025 Publish revised register of electors
The outcome of the review will be published by the Council in November 2025 and
will be available for inspection on the Council's website and County Hall, Morpeth,
Northumberland, NE61 2EF.
Anybody making representations should be aware that, upon completion of the
review, all correspondence and representations received must, by law, also be
published.
