I moved to the parish in 2016. Despite the separated nature of residencies, and the unfortunate loss of the local pub in this time, I find that people are friendly and want to look after each other and the locality.
I am quite community-minded and have participated in community improvement/involvement initiatives where I have lived – campaigns for playgrounds, street safety etc, so was delighted by the possibility to participate in the Parish Council. My work is in the field of early childhood education, as a consultant and advocate of education with children at the centre.
I am an enthusiastic music-goer (in normal times I host local live music events.) I am committed to greener living and broad ecological issues.
