Wooler Parish Council has a vacancy for a new councillor to join the team and help to continue the Parish Councils projects.

Proposed Cemetery – Implications to precept
The Parish Council, at the original request of St Marys Church, have been lobbying NCC for many years to secure the playing field land at the Old First School Site as an extension to the existing cemetery. This was finally transferred last month but the failure to set up a community management group to run the cemetery has resulted in the cemetery now being left with the Parish Council.
