Date for Parish Council meeting changed
Please note that the Parish Council meeting scheduled for 23rd February 2026 has been rescheduled due to availability and will now be at 8pm on Monday 2nd March 2026. The Finance committee meeting will also be rearranged.
Funding for local environmental initiatives
Northumberland County Council is offering funding from a pot of £50,000 for projects
aiming to help the environment.
Up to £5,000 is available from the Council’s Environment and Climate Fund to
support community initiatives such as reducing emissions, enhancing energy
efficiency, educating and engaging the local community, and promoting waste
reduction through reducing, reusing and recycling.

12th January Parish Council meeting now at 7.30pm. Recreation Field Meeting postponed.
The meeting of the Recreation Field Committee on 12th January 2026 has been postponed. It will be rearranged later in the year. The reason for this is that there is a large amount of business on the Agenda of the Felton Parish Council meeting which will begin at 7.30pm.

Police advice on recent incidents in Felton parish
The Parish Council asked for some advice from the police following recent incidents in Felton. The police advise there has been two reported thefts from motor vehicle and one reported burglary, Offender of the theft from motor vehicle has been arrested and charged with the offences and was also identified as responsible for the burglary which he was also charged with.

Free tree scheme is back for another year
Northumberland County Council’s free tree scheme is back again with individual
saplings and packs up for grabs.
The Council is once again inviting businesses, residents, schools, community groups
and town and parish councils across the county to take part in this year’s free tree
scheme, and this year more businesses are being encouraged to apply.
