The data shows that the average speeds of vehicles are traveling well below the existing 30mph speed limit across all three sites. In regard to the 85th Percentile, the 85th percentile is that speed at which 85% of vehicles are travelling or less, while the remaining 15% of vehicles will be travelling above that speed.

Within a 30mph speed limit, the 85th percentile is required to be a minimum of 35mph for enforcement to be considered by the police.

Village Appraisal Questionnaire 2022 - Results, Analysis and Action Plans

Enclosed are documents showing the results of the Ovingham Village Questionnaire, which was carried out in February and March 2022.

Additional documentation, including a summary of responses, full details of the collated information received and a copy of questionnaire are all available in the Village Plan File - a copy of which is kept at the Church in Ovingham and at the Reading Rooms, Ovingham.

The Action Plan is a working document and will be updated on a regular basis - with a quarterly report of progress being made.
