The Annual Ovingham Parish Meeting will take place at the Pavilion, Ovingham on Thursday 19th May 2022, between 7.30pm - 9.00pm.
The Agenda for the meeting is attached and residents are welcome to attend.
Any questions to be raised by residents at the Annual Parish Meeting should be emailed to the Clerk at ovinghamparishcouncil@yahoo.co.uk at least 48 hours before the meeting.

Ovingham Parish Council - April 2022 Update
1. A Speed Survey was carried out between 17th March - 1st April at all three entrances to the village. We have received the results and NCC advise that the data collected shows that none of the 3 surveys have met the criteria for further enforcement. We have requested details of the criteria that have to be met for a 20mph speed limit to be introduced. We will report further in due course.

The next meeting of Ovingham Parish Council will be at 7.15pm on Thursday 21st April 2022. The meeting will be held at The Pavilion, Windsor Crescent, Ovingham.

Ukrainian Crisis
One cannot begin to imagine the trauma and upset the Ukrainian people are suffering at the present time, it is heartbreaking to watch the daily reports on the television.
Talking to residents it is clear that those that are able are showing their generosity and doing what they can to help the Ukrainians in their hour of need.

Ovingham Parish Council - March 2022 Update
1.A wooden gate and fencing have been put in place at the entrance to the Village Green to prevent vehicle access onto the green and Vicarage Haugh.
2.The ivy growing on the church boundary wall and closed churchyard wall has been removed.

HEDGE CUTTING WORK REAR OF CASTLE VIEW - WEDNESDAY 16 MARCH 2022
We have been advised by Northumberland County Council (NCC) that they are planning to cut the boundary hedge on the lane between Castle View and Wheatfield Close on WEDNESDAY 16th MARCH 2022.
NCC could not provide an exact time that the work will commence.
NCC will need to access the area with a tractor and hedge cutter and have asked that residents do not park vehicles in this area on Wednesday (16th).
