Declaration of Interests

I grew up in the parish, at Rock Moor. After a number of years living in the South of England, I returned to my roots in 2016 to live at Rock Hall. I’m a former history and politics teacher, head of department, and now work for my family business at Rock Estates. I am involved, keenly, in several aspects of the local community including Rock Church and Cricket Club, and I serve as a parent governor at Embleton school. In my spare time I enjoy a number of sports including cycling, running and golf and I try to furnish my mind by reading history and 19th century novels. I am married with two young children and my aim is for the Parish Council to use the powers it has at its disposal for maximum benefit to the local community.
