Road Closure - Sunday 31st July by Ovingham First School
The above road will be closed on Sunday 31st July between hours of 9am & 5pm. This is to place a crane on the road which will be putting a portacabin at the first school.
Pedestrians will be able to walk past - not sure about cyclists?

Tynedale Road Race
Tynedale "Pie & Peas" Road Race will take place on Wednesday 6th July starting in Ovington at 7.30pm. Road closures will operate from 7.15pm - 8.15pm between Ovington & Wylam.

The government is providing grants to encourage property owners to install low carbon heating systems such as heat pumps, through the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS). These grants aim to help property owners overcome the upfront cost of low carbon heating technologies. |
Dog waste Bins
The Parish Council together with the Community Group have bought and installed more dog waste bins. A rough sketch showing where they are located is attached. The new bin at Overdene is by the bridle path.
Whilst the bins are owned by the Parish Council they are emptied by Northumberland County Council and can only be located in accessible areas for their vehicles.
The new locations will be monitored for 3 months but hopefully will be a permanent fixture.

A new planning application has been received for Land east of Eastside, Partnership Field to erect a feed barn on grazing land. Comments to Northumberland County Council by 30th March.
Ovington Social Club Quiz
Ovington Social Club will hold a quiz on Saturday 29th January at 8pm in the function room.
Teams up to 6 persons - entry £1 per person. Every team a winner!
There will also be a raffle.
