Rennington Parish Council is defined as a smaller authority and must annually publish various documents on our website as required by the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015, the Local Audit (Smaller Authorities) Regulations 2015 and the Transparency Code for Smaller Authorities.  Please see the document entitled ‘Notice of the Period for the Exercise of Public Rights’ for your rights to inspect documents and raise questions or objections.  Please note that these accounts have not yet been externally audited.

AECOM's Housing Needs Assessment for Rennington Parish Council

AECOM has delivered the final version of the Housing Needs Assessment for the Parish.  The executive summary is well worth a read as it outlines the housing challenges we will face over the next 15 years.   Please click on the link below to open the full report.

Some key points in the report are:

  1. The high cost of property in the parish
  2. Ageing of local population
  3. Need for some ‘Affordable Houses’ in the parish.

 

Neighbourhood Plan Call for Sites - Site Suggestion Form

To support the development of the Rennington Parish Neighbourhood Development Plan site suggestions are now being accepted for consideration. Please complete the form below by 3rd April 2023 to let the Parish Council know of any land that you would like to be considered for potential development.

Sites can be submitted for consideration for any of the following land-uses:

  • Housing sites of all types and sizes (this includes standalone settlements down to single dwellings, affordable housing schemes, specialist older people housing, self and custom build plots and Gypsy and Traveller accommodation);
  • Employment;
  • Retail, leisure and/or community uses; and
  • Mixed use schemes.
