A further 2.35 million are living on empty - only escaping a negative budget by cutting their essential spending back to unsafe levels, just to keep their heads above water. They’re breaking even, but only by going hungry, sitting in cold and damp homes, or not getting around as much as they once did.

Second RPC and Age UK Northumberland Scam Awareness Event
Rennington Parish Council has invited Age UK Northumberland (AUKN) to come to Rennington Village Hall for a second time on Wednesday 19th April from 2pm to 3pm to deliver a short talk and answer your questions about scams. It is open to all and will help to increase people's knowledge and confidence in recognising and dealing with attempted scams (text, phone, email, website and doorstop scams). There is no need to book - just turn up on the day.
RPC seeking a Consultant for the NDP
The Parish Council is seeking to appoint a consultant to guide and support them through the development of the Neighbourhood Development Plan. The successful applicant will guide and assist Rennington Parish Council in writing a Neighbourhood Plan from the formulation of policies through to referendum. This is not a Parish Council Meeting - it is more of an open forum for discussion, questions and ideas. It is not a decision making meeting although where appropriate a vote of residents of the parish on the electoral roll may be taken on an issue.
